Launching the DICE blog

Since then we’ve had interest from all over the world about how the charter for Diversity & Inclusion at Conference and Events can help organisers create, organise, and deliver better and more diverse events for speakers, panellists and attendees.

To date, we’ve certified several major trade events (with varying levels of scoring success). And with the impact and new normal of the global pandemic slowly becoming reality, virtual events are on the rise - they too need to be representative, diverse, and inclusive.

When we first launched the charter, our focus and time was spent on ensuring that we had consulted with the right under-represented voices and that the wording and language of the charter itself was coherent and did the job it set out to do. In short: a blog was not our priority.

But as we start to address a post-Covid events industry, and encouraged by the renewed interest and excitement about the charter (as well as the feedback and success we have seen), we wanted a place on the site where could discuss, share, and celebrate the conversation topics we’ve been having around DICE.

Topics such as:

  • The scores, events, and certificates awarded

  • Testimonials from DICE Certified partners

  • Addressing important feedback we’ve had to date

  • Creating new ways for corporations to support the DICE agenda

  • And of course, somewhere where you get to hear from the voices behind The DICE Charter

We hope you stick with us along the way.

Thanks for reading.

And stay tuned.
